At AK Butler Counseling, I offer faith-based counseling for children, youth and young adults, walking with them through life’s challenges with compassion, clinical insight, and spiritual guidance. As a licensed counselor, my approach integrates evidence-based techniques with a Christian worldview, helping young clients grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, grief, family transitions, or school stress my goal is to create a safe and nurturing space where they can be seen, heard, and supported. Every session is rooted in the belief that healing and hope are possible through both clinical care and the love of Christ.
I attended Clemson University where I earned my B.S. in Psychology/Youth Development. I continued my education at Clemson and received my M.Ed in Counselor Education and Ed.S. in School Counseling. After graduating I started as the lower school counselor at Ben Lippen School in Columbia, SC. This experience sparked my love for working with children, youth and young adults. This passion motivated me to expand my work to other parts of the Midlands. I currently have an office in Columbia and Camden.
