Serving Adoptive and Foster Families Through Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

This educational training explores adoption-related trauma and its impact on neurodevelopment, attachment, and behavioral regulation in children. Participants will be introduced to Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®), an evidence-informed, trauma- and attachment-based framework designed to support children with histories of early adversity, adoption, or foster care. The session emphasizes practical, trauma-informed strategies that can be utilized by licensed clinicians in therapeutic contexts as well as caregivers in community and home environments to promote regulation, relational safety, and skill development.
