Central to my approach is the practice of self-compassion. I guide clients in developing a kind, understanding relationship with themselves, especially in times of struggle. This involves recognizing and challenging self-critical thoughts, and learning to embrace imperfection with grace. I believe that self-compassion is not only the key to healing, but also the foundation for personal growth and resilience.
Mindfulness is another cornerstone of my practice. By cultivating awareness of the present moment, my clients learn to step outside of automatic reactions and gain clarity on their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Mindfulness allows for greater emotional regulation, reduced stress, and a deeper connection to one’s values, which can drive intentional action.
I also emphasize the importance of taking responsibility for one’s life journey. While external circumstances may influence our experiences, I believe that the quality of our lives is largely determined by how we respond to those circumstances. My role is to empower clients to take ownership of their choices and actions, helping them develop the tools and mindset needed to create a life that reflects their true aspirations.
In our work together, we’ll explore your values, challenges, and goals in a supportive, non-judgmental space. My goal is to help you gain the insight, confidence, and resilience to navigate life's complexities with clarity and purpose.

My focus is children and adolescents ages four and up and women of all ages. I tend to see clients for anxiety, depression, grief, and family issues. I am a devout Christian and come from a faith-based background. I am open to discussing faith/spirituality with my clients and coming alongside them on their journeys. Ultimately, I see my role as meeting clients where they are and helping them meet and achieve their therapeutic goals, setting them up for growth and success. As an LPCA, I do not take insurance at this time and charge a flat rate fee instead. I encourage any potential clients to call me for a brief introduction to discuss logistics and if I could meet your counseling needs.
