Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in a private counseling practice at Parnell Counseling Center, LLC where she provides teleheath sessions remotely to children, adolescents, families and adults. She is a University of South Carolina graduate with a Bachelors degree in Experimental Psychology and Studio Art minor. She went on to earn her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbia International University. She is an endorsed Early Childhood Family Specialist, and an endorsed Reflective Supervisor. Sarah is an advocate for the wellness of children, adolescents, and their families using a holistic, culturally sensitive, relationship-based approach that is rooted in both her current professional experiences as an LPC-A and an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant for a non-profit group, and from over a decade of working in the child welfare system, as an ABA therapist in a children’s autism clinic, and as a clinical mental health counselor in school-based and community outpatient settings.
Sarah resides in Chapin, SC with her husband, three children, 2 dogs and 2 cats. She is a partner of a local Christian church, attending regularly with her husband, and now children, since 2015. She finds joy in quality time with her family, a hot cup of coffee, a good movie or book, staying at home, and all things Harry Potter.
